Our mission is to provide a place where people can find and/or submit information regarding restaurants (including but not strictly limited to criteria such as overall food quality, overall cleanliness, overall service, overall price, nutrition, and a general review of the restaurant experience). Then, present such information in the best possible manner.

About Us / Our Purpose

Have you ever been to Bob's Fictitious Restaurant? No? Then you probably know little about what type of restaurant it is. Do they serve anything you might like to eat? How clean is it? Is it family-friendly? Is it a very formal and expensive place where you have ten forks and spend a several hours there or is it a small, reasonably-priced diner where you can grab a sandwich on your lunch break? How do you even get there? Well, this is where we would like to offer you a helping hand by offering a place where you can go and find out useful information about restaurants in your area or travel destination.

When one hears the word "criticism," there is usually a negative feeling or implication with the word. It can be easy to forget that there is actually constructive criticism. While negative reviews may be valid and merit the need to warn others, our desire is for this website to not merely be a place where people voice their disapproval over circumstances that may or may not have been within the control of the restaurant.

There may be various reasons why the server seemed distracted or the food took a few extra minutes to arrive. Ideally, it is after constant reoccurrence of such things that harsh complaints should be noted here. This is why we say "overall" before applicable criteria such as with "overall service." As long as the reviewer is honest and fair with their submission, we certainly welcome the entry. This site is here to inform others, not to purposely drive business away. Of course, we cannot guarantee the validity or accuracy of anything anyone submits (e.g. ratings or comments), and their views and opinions may or may not reflect those of the site owners and staff. The site staff will, however, try to remove or edit inappropriate content and any content they deem inappropriate with or without the notification of the offending user. Certainly, the quality of a restaurant may change with time and the latest comment or review may not accurately reflect the restaurant's current state.

Throughout history, eating has often been one of humanity's most enjoyable social experiences. From restaurant owner to restaurant customer, we all want such experiences to be pleasant.
